Why retailers rely on us

Our retail specialists take time to understand your business for a solution that’s a perfect fit. We proactively monitor your network from our 24 hour control centre; freeing your IT resource for other things and allowing us to closely support you around the clock.

Our future proof 21CN network is the UK’s largest. We can reach all your branches and quickly scale up as you open new ones. We use ADSL2+ because it’s faster and more reliable. This affords you greater data efficiency and peace of mind so you can focus on developing your business.

Multi-site connectivity for retailers is often expensive and unreliable. With high demands on IT Departments to ensure that networks are performing 24/7 you need to select a supplier that you can rely on.

Retail.net has been specifically designed to address the need for a cost-effective, reliable multi-site connectivity solution for retailers at a price to suit budget.

Industry Insight

With retailers continuing to feel the pinch following the recession it is those that utilise technology effectively that will stay ahead. This will not only enable cost reduction and assist in achieving the delivery of wider business objectives, but with the right partner, this could ensure a consistent experience for the retailers’ end customers.

So how far could a network error spread within a retail environment? A retailer that was affected by a network error during a Christmas period saw the impact spreading to the shelves, as stock ordering systems did not work as they should.

Customers were faced with a lack of fresh produce, ultimately meaning custom was taken elsewhere affecting customer loyalty and retention. This illustration of how a network error can impact on retail operations highlights the importance of the IT and communications infrastructure. With new connectivity technology comes an opportunity to replace legacy infrastructure in a cost effective way to ensure modern applications and demands can be supported both now and in the future.
