Business customers directly connected to the Kingston Communications network in certain locations not in the original licensed area can utilise a number of new voice and broadband internet access products.

Overview

Customers can choose from one of three voice tariffs (Business Direct 1,2 & 3). A matrix showing prices for standard line rental across each of the basic access products is available.
In addition customers will also be able benefit from the Business Direct Broadband tariff that offers a combined broadband and telephony service, with the convenience of a single monthly bill per line.
It will also be possible for an additional £5 (excluding VAT) per month per line to upgrade each of the Business Direct tariffs, and also any of the Business Direct Broadband tariffs to include all local calls free of charge.

Telephony – Access Products and Charges

Several line rental products and packages are available. In some circumstances, provision of a line may only be available using local loop unbundling via BT. Where this is the case, different fault response and clearance times will apply. To reduce the minimum fault response and clearance times for these lines only, Kingston offers a “Total Cover” solution, available for an additional monthly charge. Details of the standard charges are contained in the table below.

Lines directly connected to the Kingston Communications network will be covered by the Business Care support package within the standard line rental amount.

Call Charges to International destinations

All charges for these calls will be the same as the Talkmore Business tariff 8 to all destinations, at all times. No minimum call charge will apply.

Call Charges to UK National, 0800, 0845 & 0870 Numbers

These will be charged at the same rates as the Talkmore Business tariff 8.

A minimum call charge of 1.00 pence exclusive of VAT will apply to each call.

Call Charges to UK Mobile Networks

No minimum call charge will apply.

Call Charges to International destinations

All charges for these calls will be the same as the Talkmore Business tariff 9 to all destinations, at all times. No minimum call charge will apply.

Call Charges to UK National, 0800, 0845 & 0870 Numbers

These will be charged at the same rates as the Talkmore Business tariff 9.

No minimum call charge will apply.

KC Business Direct Broadband

Business Direct broadband features high-speed broadband access to the internet and an analogue telephone line, at a low flat rate monthly charge. Following connection customers will receive one invoice containing all internet and telephony charges per month per line.

Call charges to all destinations will be the same as KC Business Direct 3.

Special Offer – KC SaveMore Broadband

• For every £100 (exc. VAT) that customers spend on calls made on KC Business Direct tariffs a credit will be raised against a specified KC Broadband (UK) or Business Direct Broadband for £10 (exc. VAT).
  Credits to your broadband bill will be up to a maximum of your total bill value and will not be carried forward to the next billing period.
  Customers must sign-up for a minimum term of 1 year to both services to benefit from KC Save More Broadband.

Example

Customer signs up for KC Business Direct and KC Broadband (UK) or KC Business Direct Broadband on 1st December.

Customer receives their first Business Direct bill on 25th December and has £500 exc. VAT worth of call spend.

On the 21st January the customer receives their second KC Broadband (UK) or Business Direct Broadband, which has a rental and call spend value of £45 exc. VAT.

The customer is credited with the full amount of their broadband bill, but loses the £5 of the potential £50 credit.
