Communications and employee engagement

As a company we are fully committed to proactively promoting an open and honest culture where we encourage feedback and regular dialogue with all our employees and have a wide range of initiatives in place to support this. We actively encourage employees to provide feedback at all levels through our "Ask" programme, regular roadshows attended by our CEO and senior directors, team meetings and informal lunchtime gatherings at all our locations. We also use employee surveys to understand our employee climate and drive through improvements to the way we manage, communicate and reward our employees.

We also have established partnership arrangements in place with external organisations and Trade Unions to ensure that we openly discuss, challenge and agree initiatives that have a positive impact on both the organisation and employees.

Our Performance Management programme encourages all employees to have regular dialogue and individual meetings with their managers to promote personal development and clarity of role, which should lead to improved business and individual performance.
