KCOM Group launches new communications services business under ‘Kcom’ brand
KCOM Group PLC announced today that it has brought together activities from two of its business divisions
London, UK – 18 November 2009: KCOM Group PLC announced today that it has brought together activities from two of its business divisions - Affiniti, its managed communications business, and Kingston Communications (outside Hull and East Yorkshire) - to form a new business, under the name Kcom (www.kcom.com).
The new Kcom business leverages Affiniti's core expertise in managing complex communication infrastructures and applications, and Kingston Communications' proven credentials in connectivity and hosting. It will provide a wide range of leading edge communication services with a commitment to delivering a different class of service to its customers.
The KCOM Group’s existing partnership with BT, which was announced in June this year, strengthens the Group’s communications services capability. It provides Kcom with the scope to deliver a full suite of next generation products and services and helps support its business strategy to deliver high-value services with recurring, sustainable revenues. With BT managing its network, Kcom can now offer its customers a greater breadth and depth in service choice, and focus on providing an improved customer experience.
