Kcom jointly presented with Staffordshire County Council at SmartGov Live

Kcom, part of the KCOM Group, jointly presented with Staffordshire County Council last month at SmartGov Live.

Howard Inns, Marketing Manager at Kcom and Staffordshire’s CIO, Sander Kristel, discussed their ideas surrounding the design and implementation of Staffordshire’s Public Service Network, one of five in the UK.

The 20 minute presentation also covered the practical and technical aspects of a PSN, as well as looking at the benefits Staffordshire County Council are expecting, as well as the year long procurement process itself.

Afshin Attari, Head of Distributed Government at Kcom says: “We were thrilled to be able to share our experience and knowledge on Public Services Networks. Whilst they are still in their infancy stage, PSNs are a complex and continually evolving aspect of Public Sector life, and we are keen to share our learning’s on designing and implementing them to help all Public Sector organisations who are looking to implement a PSN.”
