It’s all about the internet now, says David Swann. That’s why having a top-quality website and reliable broadband to deal with enquiries is essential.
“It’s very important to have a good online presence now,” says David who has been chauffeuring parties to special occasions such as weddings, graduations, hen nights and prom parties for more than two decades.
“Most people – apart from repeat bookings and recommendations – use the internet to find us these days,” says David. “That’s why we invest in a high Google ranking and it’s important to us to have a website that always up and running.”
David’s latest investment is a state-of-the-art eight-seater Limousine, which is now having its finishing touches added in Springfield, Missouri, before being shipped across the Atlantic and made ready for use on the streets of Hull, East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
As well as having the latest sound and lighting systems and a disco floor, Abbie’s newest vehicle can link with Spotify, giving passengers their soundtrack of choice as they head to their special destination. It’s keeping up with the latest technology that keeps Abbie Limos ahead of the competition, says David.
That’s why Abbie Limos recently upgraded to a 500Mbps ultrafast Lightstream broadband connection, funded by the Government’s Gigabit Voucher Scheme, which provides grants of up to £2,500 to businesses so they can reap the benefits of full fibre connectivity.
“It’s faster and most importantly it’s reliable,” says David. “We wouldn’t have had fibre installed without the money from the Government but I’m glad we did. I’d absolutely recommend it – if it’s the idea of paying for an installation that’s putting you off then have a look at this and see if it will pay it for you. Businesses can’t afford not to be on the internet now.”
