Cancelling due to bereavement
We're sorry to hear that you've experienced a bereavement, thank you for taking the time to notify us. Here is what you need to do.

1. Decide what you'd like to do with the account
The account can either be closed or transferred over into a different name.

3. Closing or transferring the account
The account can be closed immediately or at a time to suit you. Any late or disconnection charges that have been applied to the account since the account holder passed away, will be removed and credited.

4. Receive a phone call
We may need to get back in touch to confirm your details.

5. Account credit
If there's a credit due to come, this will generally be paid by Direct Debit.
