    Head of Marketing, Enterprise

    Paul has over 20 years’ experience working in the IT and Telecommunications industries. He manages a team of marketeers who are responsible for ensuring KCOM has a thorough understanding of the opportunities and challenges KCOM’s customers currently face, and who work closely with KCOM's technology and proposition development teams, to develop and launch propositions and packages to address these.

    In his spare time Paul is a keen amateur photographer, aviation enthusiast (though not a plane spotter!) and motorsport fan.

  • Ruth Speakman

    PR & Communications

    Ruth handles PR for the enterprise side of KCOM’s business which means she’s usually busy gathering case studies from happy customers who work with us on a myriad of complex projects – from making sure you can book and collect your train tickets, to ensuring your tax, healthcare and insurance needs are delivered. It’s her job to shout about us winning new business and launching new innovations. As you can imagine, she’s very busy!

  • Wayne Stallwood

    Head of AWS Practice

    Wayne is a senior architect in his own right and since joining us, he has risen to take over responsibility for our AWS Cloud Practice. His deep experience in several industries means Wayne knows how to direct the team at all levels of technical advancement in designing, delivering and supporting Cloud Services for our enterprise customers.

    In 2014, Wayne was voted “Employee of the Year” and received the award from Bill Halbert, Chief Executive of KCOM.

  • Stu Smith

    Head of API Practice

    Stu is a highly experienced Technical Architect and team leader specialising in SOA products in industries including Aviation, Telecommunications, Insurance, Internet Ecommerce Solutions and Integration Services. Stu is also involved in Mobile Applications Design and Development.

    Outside of work, Stu is an Extreme Sport fanatic – paragliding, sky diving and scuba diving in his spare time.

  • Andy Cory

    Head of IAM Practice

    Andy has over 15 years’ experience in IT gained after a career change from working as a classical musician. Having joined KCOM in 2006, initially as a member of the Service Management team, Andy is currently a Lead Consultant specialising in the architecture and delivery of Identity & Access Management solutions. Andy has worked with IAM products from vendors such as Oracle and Sun, and most recently with ForgeRock®, with whom KCOM enjoys a productive partnership. Andy's principal focus is on access management, including authentication, authorisation and federation. Andy leads KCOM's IAM Practice, and is a certified and accredited ForgeRock OpenAM solutions architect. He has also been awarded accredited ForgeRock Mentor status.

    Outside of work, Andy still maintains an active involvement in music, and also enjoys travel, fine wines, and spending time with his two unruly dogs.

  • Jason Oliver

    Cloud Architect

    Jason Oliver is an accomplished and capable hands-on cloud architect with an extensive public sector and cloud background. He is the public sector lead architect at KCOM. With a wide knowledge of cloud, the Internet and security technologies, in addition to heterogeneous systems spanning Windows, *nix, virtualisation, application and systems management, networking and automation. He is an evangelist of innovative technology, best practice, concise operational processes and quality documentation.

  • Nick Holmes

    AWS Architect, Consulting and Architecture

    In his role as an AWS Architect, Nick leads the infrastructure and application architect practice specialising in the Amazon Web Services virtualisation and service stack. Nick’s career has focused on software development and building high performance server, database and analytics platforms.

    His experience covers TV broadcast, digital media, internet services and most recently, systems integration. Nick advises enterprise clients on moving their infrastructure to the cloud, how to achieve the benefits of cloud and best of class cloud security.

  • Suzette Bouzane Meadows

    Director of Contact, Enterprise

    Suzette is the Contact Centre Association’s Director of the Year for 2016 and is well known in the customer experience industry. She has a certification from MiT in big data and analytics and is passionate about improving the level of insight that organisations have around customer behaviour.

    Suzette is originally from Canada and has held many leadership roles covering areas including strategy, research and development, sales, pre-sales, marketing, delivery and support. Her current focus is to apply her extensive knowledge and experience to help organisations transform. Suzette’s consulting engagements have helped customers understand and redefine their customer experience strategy, leading to better customer outcomes and higher efficiency.

  • Sally Westwood

    Head of Portfolio Compliance

    Sally Westwood joined KCOM in 2005 and has worked in a variety of roles as part of the Strategic Propositions team, initially looking after connectivity services and then more recently taking responsibility for managed services and security and compliance, with a particular emphasis on public sector. Prior to joining KCOM, Sally spent time working at Cable & Wireless and in the IT departments in retail and travel organisations, and so has experience of the ICT business as both a supplier and a consumer.

    In her spare time, Sally enjoys singing in a local choir and with a small group of fellow enthusiasts (with varying degrees of success), and walking her dog across the beautiful British countryside whenever and wherever she gets an opportunity.

  • Cathy Phillips

    Chief Marketing Officer

    Cathy joined KCOM in 1995 and leads the teams responsible for brand management and marketing, media relations, financial PR and internal communications. She is also responsible for KCOM's community relations programme, leading relationships that include KCOM's patronage of The Prince's Trust and its partnership of Hull UK City of Culture 2017.

  • Tim Whitehead

    Head of Bid Management, Enterprise

    Tim Whitehead has worked in bid management for almost 20 years and had deep insight into changing processes and procedures of public and private organisations looking to insource expertise.  Beginning his career at IBM, Tim now heads up the enterprise bid team at KCOM and has played a major role in facilitating the company’s transition from a telco to a full service, IT strategic partner for complex organisations.

  • Jerry Gudgeon

    Client Principal

    Jerry has worked with a range of Public Sector Organisations, over the last 20 years, delivering major transformational and shared services projects around Workstyle, Emergency Response, Identity and Authentication and Care in the Community. These have been delivered via a variety of contracting vehicles including Joint Ventures and PFI.

    Jerry is now wholly focussed on working with KCOM’s Public Sector customers to deliver outcomes based projects focussed on ‘Joined up Government’ and ‘Citizen First’ through deployment of KCOM’s Unified Comms, Public Cloud and API solutions and services.

    Head of Project Management

    Jane is a highly qualified project professional with a significant level of experience in both the public and private sectors. Having delivered large scale projects and programmes across a wide range of backgrounds including IT, Finance, Customer Experience, Service and Organisational Transformation, Jane has also been a long serving member of the Association for Project Management ensuring the professional standards of delivery are implemented and followed.

    Outside of work, Jane is a keen traveller as well as an avid football follower and supporter.

    Product Innovation lead

    As a product innovation lead at KCOM, Chris assesses marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles to identify opportunities for innovation and business success. Chris is responsible for initiating and leading product developments, including designing and developing solutions that map to problems in the markets KCOM operates.

  • Eddie Ginja

    Head of Public Sector

    Eddie joined KCOM in 2018, as Head of Public Sector, where he and his team work closely with the Public Sector organisations to modernise digital infrastructures and services.

    Eddie started his IT career as a mainframe programmer. After working in Banking for several years, and having concluded many projects for some of the world’s leading banking institutions, he joined Capgemini in 1997.  In his 15 year career at Capgemini Eddie progressed through the ranks from a programmer/systems analyst, to project programme manager, bid manager and finally as Head of Infrastructure Management, ITICS UK and North America. During that time, Eddie was one of the principal bid leaders for the HMRC ASPIRE contract in 2004. Eddie subsequently went on to work on the ASPIRE contact (in Telford), as Head of Core Services for six years. Eddie continues to be involved in helping the Public Sector achieve their goals and objectives.

  • Raymond Hwang

    Head of DevOps

    Raymond has a Computer Science degree from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
    Working in several positions over the past 10 years such as a senior programmer, technical lead, and principal engineer.

    This has provided Raymond with a unique perspective for DevOps, as it’s not just the tools and the processes that make it the success it is today, but also the culture of collaboration between teams that often have very different objectives⁠⁠⁠⁠.
    Raymond is currently Head of DevOps at KCOM, leading the AWS DevOps team.

    Outside of work, Raymond is an avid Formula 1 fan and has attended races in multiple countries. He also enjoys cooking and often ends up creating dishes.

The key to this being understanding how better technology and processes help people become more effective in their daily roles.

    In Patrick’s spare time when he is not running after three little ones, he likes to train and is a keen sports fan.

During this time Adam has ensured that his customer first approach has been underpinned by a commitment to delivery excellence.

    Currently Adam uses his knowledge built around Cloud technologies over the last 6 years, to help KCOM identify solutions to meet customer challenges in markets which are rapidly changing and where complex customer requirements means that organisations have to find innovative outcomes. Specifically Adam is focused on helping organisations drive even more benefits from their cloud adoption strategy including cloud native innovation and managing multi-cloud services.

  • Stephen Long OBE

    Managing Director, Enterprise

    Stephen joined KCOM in January 2013. Prior to that he was Director of the Enterprise Business Unit at Fujitsu, responsible for the UK private sector. An engineering graduate, he retired from the Royal Air Force as a Wing Commander in 2000. Stephen has also worked for Hewlett Packard and in 2007 joined the board of Adecco UK, a subsidiary of the world’s largest recruitment and general staffing company.
