Explained - Your Final Bill

Your final bill will be generated within two weeks of the end date. Any bills that arrive in the meantime will need to be paid.

Your final bill will be generated within two weeks of the end date. Any bills that arrive in the meantime will need to be paid.

The final bill will include/consider any line rental that you've paid past your end date, and this will be credited back to the account.

You will only have the line rental credited back to you - any calls made or usage charges before the cease date will stand, and the final bill will take these out of any credit due on the account.

What can you expect from your final bill

Your final bill is a bill that you would receive outside your normal billing cycle that details your final account status when moving home or leaving KCOM. this means you may end up with a credit for services you have paid for but also you may end up with a final balance to pay, this bill will detail all the charges for you and what is owed to you or us.

These bills look like the normal bill you would receive but will show different dates to accommodate the end of your current service.

What will your charges look like

The charges you see on this bill will look the same as your normal bill however may appear different amounts due to the dates this bill will cover, this will also include any early termination charges that you have incurred.

What do I need to do with my direct debit

If you pay by direct debit please do not cancel this as we will use this to make sure your account is settled, wether this is to pay you a credit due or settle an outstanding balance.

What if you are due a credit

Paying by direct debit

If you are due a credit from your final bill, this will be paid automatically into your bank using the direct debit details we hold on our system.

Other payment methods

If you pay by any other method and you are due a credit you will be sent a cheque for the amount of credit you are due, this will be sent to either your current address or your forwarding address if you have provided one.

What happens if you have a balance to pay off

Paying by direct debit

If you have a balance left on the account when your service ceases we will collect this payment 10 working days after the date on your final bill through your direct debit details.

Other payment methods

If you pay by any other method, you will be required to make this payment up to 10 working days after the date on your final bill.
