How to get a PAC code when leaving KCOM

Written by KCOM Support on 01/10/2026. Posted in eSIM.

If you're leaving KCOM but want to keep your KCOM mobile number when you join another network, you'll need a Porting Authorisation Code (PAC).

Your PAC allows your new mobile provider to transfer your KCOM mobile number to their network.

What is a PAC?

A PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) is a unique code that allows you to take your existing mobile number with you when you move to another mobile provider.

If you want to keep your KCOM mobile number, you'll need a PAC.

If you don't want to keep your number, text STAC to 75075 instead. Alternatively, you can contact our support team or request a STAC through the KCOM eSIM app

How do I get my PAC from KCOM?

You can request your PAC by:

  • Through the KCOM eSIM app
  • Contacting our support team
  • Texting PAC to 65075 from your KCOM mobile number

What do I do with my PAC?

Once you've received your PAC, give it to the mobile provider you're switching to.

They'll use your PAC to transfer your existing KCOM mobile number to their network.

You don't need to contact KCOM separately to cancel your mobile service. Once your number has been successfully transferred, your KCOM mobile service will automatically terminate.

How long is my PAC valid for?

Your PAC is valid for 30 days from the date it's issued.

If you don't use it within this time, you'll need to request a new PAC.

Can I get a PAC if I've already left KCOM?

Yes. If you've recently left KCOM but have changed your mind and want to keep your KCOM mobile number, you may still be able to request a PAC for up to 30 days after leaving.
