Let's get your landline fibre ready
You’ve probably heard that there’s a major change coming to the way landlines work in the UK as it upgrades from its old copper phone network to a new fibre one.
Like other providers, KCOM is upgrading its old copper lines which means that in the future your landline will be delivered over a broadband connection.
We’re doing this because the existing copper network is old – in many places more than 40 years old – and no longer fit for purpose. Fibre is more reliable, easier and quicker to repair and uses far less energy – so it’s good for the planet too.
