We all know this is a very busy time of year for Father Christmas.

But in between making sure all the presents are ready and the reindeers have been fed – Santa has found some time to send season’s greeting to 100 special youngsters across the KCOM region.

That’s why he’s asked KCOM to launch Santa’s Shorts, where 100 lucky children will receive a personalised Christmas short video message from Santa himself.

All you parents or guardians have to do is fill in the form below and explain why your youngster deserves a special shout out from Santa this year and we’ll sort the rest.

And don’t forget to watch out for Santa’s special message to everyone out there in Hull, East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire which we’ll be posting on KCOM’s Facebook page on Christmas Eve.

  • ▵Competition terms and conditions
    1. The competition is open to all individuals located in HU1 to HU19 inclusive, YO43, YO25 and DN1-DN40 inclusive except those individuals associated with employees of the Promoters their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
    2. The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
    3. All entries must be submitted via the form and only one entry per person is permitted.
    4. Our community panel - made up of KCOM employees who live and work in the region will consider every application we have received and decide on the 100 winners.
    5. The opening date for entries is 00:01 on 03/12/2021. The closing date of the prize draw is 23:59 on 05/12/2021. Entries received after this time will not be counted.
    6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind.
    7. The prize is 1 x 30 second personalised Santa messages for each winner
    8. There shall be a maximum number of 100 prizes awarded.
    9. The Promoter shall inform the winners by email or telephone (using details provided at entry).
    10. The winners will receive their messages WC 20/12/2021.
    11. The prize is supplied by KCOM. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
    12. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
    13. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of prize winners to anyone who writes to KCOM Group plc, 37 Carr Lane, Hull HU1 3RE (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at teamsocial@kcom.com. Even where an objection has been made the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
    14. The Promoter and the Supplier (acting together or separately) reserve the right to feature the winner's details in future promotions. The Promoter or the Supplier may contact the winners to request that they participate in future promotional material relating to this prize draw.
    15. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
    16. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
    17. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
    18. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will be processed to administer the prize draw. Details of how the Promoter processes personal data are as set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Notice. Please see:
      • Condition 9 with regard to the passing of data from the Promoter to the Supplier
      • Condition 14 with regard to the announcement of winners
    19. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
