Hull University recognised among world’s best

Hull University has been ranked in the top three percent as one of best in the world.

The Times Higher World University Rankings have revealed the University as one of the top 500 global institutions.

The rankings, now in their 12th year, apply rigorous standards, using tough global benchmarks across key areas including teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.

The University of Hull has a ranking of between 401 and 500, which puts it in the top three per cent in the world.

These latest rankings come after a series of impressive ratings in other league tables this year, cementing the University’s international reputation.

Professor Calie Pistorius, Vice-Chancellor at the University of Hull said: “To be recognised as one of the top universities globally is extremely pleasing. We are committed to providing an outstanding student experience here in Hull and these latest rankings are a testament to that.

“Studying at the University of Hull is about more than just obtaining a degree, it’s about laying the foundations for future success. We are proud that 95 per cent of University of Hull graduates get into work or further study within six months of leaving, according to the latest results from the Higher Education Statistics Agency, placing us in the top 20 English universities for employability.”
