City Ninja Hull

City Ninja is an exciting indoor assault course and it's coming to Hull in November!

Made up of a combination of giant inflatables and freestanding obstacles designed to test your strength, speed, balance and agility, City Ninja promises to be an adrenaline-charged experience. Suitable for anyone over 1.3m tall, you can participate as a group, with your family or by yourself.

City Ninja Hull is taking place on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 November at Airco Arena.

The Beautiful Couch

Emulating the sound of two of Hull's finest and most popular exports, The Beautiful South and The Housemartins, this tribute band first formed back in 2002, playing all over the country. They built up a loyal following and a huge reputation in the tribute band world, going on to play venues such as Liverpool's Cavern Club, the Matthew Street Festival and the KCOM Stadium in Hull.

After taking a few years off, The Beautiful Couch returned for a one-off gig at Hull City Hall in May 2012. Such was the demand for the band to return, they decided to grab their instruments and return to the stage for good, and the fans flocked to see them.

Make sure you get your tickets early and don't miss what promises to be a great night of live music at The Welly on Friday 30 November.

Are you alright mate?

This is a half-day workshop focused on looking at men's mental health, aimed at general members of the public and health professionals. The session will explore ways in which we can encourage more open talk about the issue, and get the message out there that it's ok for men to not be okay.

The event offers an opportunity to hear a range of local thought-provoking speakers, plus a visiting keynote speaker with a particularly powerful message.

Are you alright mate? takes place on Tuesday 13 November in the Kingsley Suite at the University of Hull.

Forensic Pathology Presentation

Calling all fans of shows like Midsomer Murders, Silent Witness and Lewis – now’s your chance to see how forensic pathology, as shown on TV, compares to the real world profession.

Join the experts for an exciting look at this fascinating profession, delivered by Dr M. Lyall. This eye-opening event will be held at Hull Royal Infirmary on Thursday 8 November.

Culture Club

Since their inception in 1981, Culture Club have sold more than 50 million records worldwide. The group is fronted by British singer-songwriter Boy George, who is universally recognised as one of music's most iconic artists.

Boy George was presented with the Ivor Novello Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015 for his contribution to the music industry. Roy Hay, Mikey Craig and Jon Moss make up the remaining original line-up touring the UK.

Catch Culture Club at the Bonus Arena on Tuesday 20 November.
