How do I use Parental Controls?

Parental Controls is our free service that lets you choose how much of the internet you would like you and your family to view. It's easy to set up and will help you make sure that your family is safe using the internet on all of your devices using KCOM broadband in your home.

You can setup Parental Controls by logging into My Account.

Once you've set up Parental Controls, you'll still be able to access blocked websites and content using a PIN code. Certain websites will be blocked or allowed by default for the profile you choose, but you can manually block or allow websites.

Where do I access Parental Controls?

You can access your Parental Controls settings on My Account. Once logged in, look at the left navigation bar, then select Services > Broadband > Parental Controls.

You can now turn on or off the parental controls and choose the age group you'd like to set.
