KCOM and Hull City renew partnership to power up local communities

KCOM and Hull City have announced a powerful new partnership that will pack a major punch in the local community.
The Hull-based broadband provider has extended its agreement to be the Tigers’ Official Community Partner for another three years.
The deal, which will run until 2027, will see KCOM continue to have a big presence at the MKM Stadium, with matchday takeover events, thousands of free ticket giveaways to customers, local schools and community groups and other initiatives to help drive digital inclusion across Hull, East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
Neil Bartholomew, Managing Director of KCOM Consumer, said: “It’s fantastic news that we’ve signed another three-year partnership with Hull City that will deliver even more opportunities for our local communities.
“KCOM and the Tigers both do brilliant work empowering people across our region to enjoy new experiences and explore new horizons, but by working together we can have an even greater impact to make local lives better. Last year, KCOM and City both celebrated our 120th anniversaries together, so it’s great to be back on the team for another three years to continue our long and valued relationship.”
Joe Clutterbrook, Chief Operating Officer, Hull City, said: “We are delighted that KCOM have extended their partnership to continue their long and successful association with the club.
“Since becoming the club’s official community partner in 2023, KCOM have given away thousands of tickets to enable young supporters from the area to watch City in action, among other exciting projects that together, we look forward to developing in the near future.
“We thank them for their continued loyal support and are excited to enhance our partnership further with more initiatives that create opportunities for local people.”

The announcement was made this week by the star of KCOM’s eero launch campaign, the ‘KCOM Nan’, who visited the MKM Stadium for a chat with City stars Alfie Jones and Matty Jacob. You can watch the full video of Nan quizzing Alfie and Matty on subjects such as “Who has the squad’s most powerful strike?” and “If you could have one superpower, what would it be” here.
The partnership will also see the return of KCOM Kits, where KCOM and City donate one full Kappa team strip to a local youth football team for every goal the Tigers score at home in the league. The popular scheme has already presented more than 150 full kits to kids’ football teams since it started four years ago, enabling young players to look fantastic when they step out on to the pitch every week.
