To protect your Technicolor router from being accessed wirelessly by unauthorised users, you can change your wireless password. For a personal touch, you can also change your wireless name.

  4. Type in your username and password to sign in. The username is admin and the password will be what you set it to when you first ever logged into the router.

If this is the first time you're logging in, the password will be either 'admin' or the access key on the bottom left of the label on the back of your router.

    Select Sign in.

  6. Select the wireless name underneath the Access Point 2.4GHz (2.4G) or Access Point 5Ghz (5G) sections. You can change one network, then change the other one afterwards.

The example we have below is for changing the 2.4Ghz network (2.4G).
