My router seems to be faulty, what can I do?

Written by KCOM Support on 11/01/2023. Posted in Broadband.

If your router seems to be faulty or it's stopped working completely, you may need to get a replacement.

Can you check my router for faults?

Yes we can. For peace of mind, we offer a service at our MyTech shop where we check and test your router for any faults, free of charge.

Something to note

We have a handy interactive troubleshooting tool that can help diagnose and fix the most common in-home broadband issues such as slow speeds and no connection. The tool also covers some of the basic troubleshooting questions that our call handlers would ask you over the phone. Please click here to give it a try: Broadband Troubleshooter

To arrange this check, please call our Technical Support team on 01482 606101.

What else can I do?

If you're certain that your router has gone faulty and you don't want to bring it in for testing, you can simply buy a new router.

To see what routers we currently provide, please see our MyTech page.
