What is Caller Display?

Written by KCOM Support on 18/11/2022. Posted in Phone.

Caller Display lets you see the number of the person calling you. This means you can decide whether to answer the call or let it go to the answering machine (if you have one), or Message Minder. It also logs the phone numbers from calls while you're out or unavailable, so you know who's been trying to contact you.

To use Caller Display, you need to have a phone with a Caller Display Screen or a Caller Display Unit.

How does it work?

As long as you have a Caller Display Screen or a Caller Display Unit, the screen will show the number of the person calling you at the time of the call. Please be aware that Caller Display is temporarily unavailable in certain areas of our network. For more information, please click the contact us link at the bottom of the page.

Caller Display doesn't work if the number calling you is withheld, international or unavailable. Caller Display / Call Return will not register international calls, those from some cable networks, or on phones connected to some business switchboards.

Cost

Caller Display is free on all phone and broadband packages.
